We will choose accordingly the most efficient delivery service applicable, this is strictly at our discretion.

We will inform you by email when your item has been despatched.

Furniture

Furniture Delivery Service

Delivery of furniture is usually made within 7 - 14 days of cleared funds, however please allow up to 21 days on rare occasions.

This service is used for large items of furniture and delivered by our in house furniture delivery team.

Our furniture delivery team will telephone ahead to book the delivery. Please note the day offered for delivery will be in conjunction with the driver's delivery schedule and route plans, on a date that the driver will be in your postcode area.

Our furniture will be generally delivered via a 7.5 tonne vehicle so please be sure your property is accessible for this size of truck.

Our furniture delivery team cannot offer a timed or Saturday delivery. Deliveries will be Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 8.00pm. You must be prepared to be flexible as due to the unpredictable nature of furniture deliveries, exact times are sometimes impossible to honour, however, our team will phone you approximately 1 hour before expected time of delivery.

We strongly advise that when the delivery team calls to arrange a delivery that you choose a full day in your diary to accept the delivery. If the courier does offer a timed e.g. am or pm drop and is delayed in reaching you then this way you are not inconvenienced.

Courier Service

This service is used for individual larger items which will be delivered to you the next working day.

Please note our courier will not telephone ahead to book delivery, however, if you are not in they will leave a card with a contact telephone number for you to agree a convenient date for redelivery. This card must to be responded to within 48 hours to avoid the item being returned to us hence creating a rechargeable delivery. Our carrier cannot offer any timed or Saturday drops.

Royal Mail Service

This service is used on a daily basis for smaller items which are sent by 1st class mail please allow 1 - 3 working days.

Courier Service

This service is used for smaller or multiple items, however, on occasions individual larger items which will be delivered to your the next working day.

Please note our courier will not telephone ahead to book delivery, however, if you are not in they will leave a card with a contact telephone number for you to agree a convenient date for redelivery. This card must to be responded to within 48 hours to avoid the item being returned to us hence creating a rechargeable delivery. Our carrier cannot offer any timed or Saturday drops.

Returns

We offer you the right to cancel or return an item providing you inform us and is acknowledged in writing (email) within 14 days of delivery. All carriage/postal costs will be at the buyer’s expense for larger items of furniture our collection rate for England and Wales mainland is £35.00.

All return items must be in its original packaging and unused, therefore we make special mention to be very careful when unwrapping the items to keep the packaging intact, this is essential to avoid damages on return and we must let you know at this stage that the responsibility for this is with the buyer.

This is put in place to allow you the consumer a closer inspection of the item first hand as you bought this item at a distance but also allows us the seller to be able to resell the item as brand new. If the item is not resalable as new when returned we will not issue a refund.

Damages & faults

In case of faults or delivery damages it is essential that you contact us directly with any problems. Please do this by email at info@insideoutliving.co.uk.

All damages & faults must be reported by email within 24 hours of delivery and noted on the courier’s delivery note. Please send photographic evidence.
